The Submerging Church website is run by Good Fight Ministries. Since producing the documentary The Submerging Church in 2012, we decided to launch a site dedicated to keeping people informed about the Emergent Church, since information seems to be coming out on such a regular basis. We also offer Emergent-related resources on this site as well, for those who are interested.

Good Fight Ministries specializes in teaching and encouraging spiritual warfare against the powers of darkness, as well as sharing important insights as they relate to biblical prophecy and the end times. We provide information from a biblical and spiritual worldview to help you make informed life choices that often have eternal consequences. We carefully research growing religious trends and ideas that attempt to undermine biblical Christianity, providing written articles and video exposés covering various trends in present pop culture. The tools that Good Fight makes available have proven to be incredibly effective in leading thousands of people to Christ and encouraging Believers in their walk with the Lord.

Pastor Joe Schimmel is the founder of Good Fight Ministries and has been delivering the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the nation for over 25 years. His state-of-the-art multimedia seminar entitled “They Sold Their Souls For Rock And Roll” has affected thousands of lives for positive spiritual growth, and is currently featured worldwide via major television and satellite broadcasts.

Joe Schimmel is also the senior pastor at Blessed Hope Chapel, an evangelical non-denominational fellowship in Simi Valley, California. He has held this position since the founding of the church in 1990.
